'Daph darling' is turning 20 sooooonnnn... 48 hours to go, Daph. Now....Shes all gloomy about this. She doesn want this to happen....Shes hoping, that never happens..She spent the last 2 days telling people(anyone who crossed by/she walked upto them)that, 'Guess what, i'm still a teenager'(with a Evil Grin---Alright,i forgive u .)..I dont know what shes thinking..shes so bothered about turning 20... ;)
So what did i do:
I spent 5 mins googling to see if i cud find anything motivating for her, to get over this 20'ophobia. ;))But then CASE FAIL...It talks about turning 50 :-o, legal right to drinking and voting and stuff we wouldnt even be bothered about.So now if google's gonna respond like that,i guess u understand how unimportant/unrealised that change is.... [dont blame my search strategy now]
So here's the plan:
I just thought this post shall be dedicated to DAPH .Whoever's reading this can drop us a line about ' What changes did you see/feel/go through from 19 to 20' (or whatever)..guess u got my point..Use the comment box for this..
[I ll start though ;)]
So here i go.
When i turned 20 .... Trust me i felt NO DIFFERENT ..I realised i was one year older but absolutely no sudden changes in my views/decisions...Nothing was extra Good/Bad....Oh yeah,I remember studying networks for some model exam[ok skip MSEC doom]..:D:D...I guess things change all the time(since birth). Life's a 'Fastrack'..So keep going Daph....

I dint feel any changes too Pournima..well, i was a bit disappointed that i wasnt a teenager anymore but i ve got used to it now..anyways,Happy Birthday Daphne :) ..we r all looking forward to u becoming 20 ;)

ReplyDeleteur right , im getting more paranoid as the time gets closer.. i know its silly of me but still turning 20 makes me feel older, mature, ancient etc....and the fact tat i wont be a teenager any more kinda haunts me..but im gonna make the best out of the few more hours i have left, as a teenager
But on the brighter side, my parents have granted me birthday budget of 30,000... maybe 20 is not that bad after all...

ReplyDeletebecoming twenty is no big deal...! i actually use it as a tool... if my parents argue with me , i tell them "im twenty years old.. so i know wat im doin!"..... it really works ;-) have a gr8 bday.. may god be with you and give you whatever u want :-)

And about the 20 thingy, just a number! You can feel as old or as young as you want to. I personally am stuck in 15 or 16 :)
