CHRISTMAS GIFT

Hi All,
Back Here with yet another post. This is a Story....So u kinda need to catch some time to read this. and i assume it'll be worth your time.
I was reminded of this story last night when someone was talking to me about their last years christmas Gift.I remember reading this story some 8 years back in one of my cousins text books .So the details are not perfect because i'm just putting down what i remember. But I'm making sure that i don't skip or alter the message conveyed. After all the message to be taken is left to you.
Here we go:
THE CHRISTMAS GIFT
Its Christmas Eve and In one of the Houses of the remote street a Baby is about to be born. The father walks to and fro pacing the floor...sweating to the sounds heard from his wife and the nurse upstairs. After moments that seem to him like everlasting hours ,theres a killing silence. The father eagerly awaits the nurse carrying down his baby to him.
After some moments of extreme silence ,the nurse comes down with the baby. The baby doesnt seem to be crying anymore. The silent women gives the new born to the excited father....and speaks the few words that would break him down then and forever."The baby isn't alive anymore". There's a sudden stop in his thoughts . The words ringing in his ears over and over again .Getting back to his conciousness he looks down for the first time at his little son. The soft smile on the baby's face and those little eyes which never seemed to have opened to this world . The peace on the baby's face brought his heart the serenity that he lost for moments. He looked into the face of his Loving son knowing that every dream was meant to be faded and every expectation to be broken .Reviving from the misfortune that struck him He walks upstairs with his son,to see his wife sleeping in an eternal peace after hours of exhaustion....He hadnt any words to welcome her into the Motherhood that she'd been expecting and awaiting for months to have almost got it,but still not given to her.A total unfair game played on a loving mother and anxious father.
Just when a series of thoughts fading his faith gush through his mind,he hears the door bell .The father walks down with baby, put the baby in the cradle and opens the door to find a man shivering in the cold outside.
"I'm a lost traveller Sir,Will you be able to give me shelter for a night".
The father offers to help and allows the man in.He gives him some clothes and lets him sit by the fire.Just after moments the stranger notices the baby in the cradle.
The father then explains the misfortune that just struck him.Without more words the stranger walks upto the cradle and looks into the smiling face of the baby."what a beautiful baby he is"
The man takes the baby in his arms and begins to rock him gently.
The father repeats that the baby lived no longer.
The stranger rocks just once more and gives the baby into the hands of the father.
""He just needed a little warmth"
And just as the father sees his son ,those little eyes open and he gives out a little cry.The baby looks up at his father for the first time and lets out a louder cry.Unable to believe what just happened the father looks up at the stranger who's already at the door all set to leave. The father looks back tears of happiness rolling down his eyes and kisses his little son.Could he have got a more VALUABLE CHRISTMAS GIFT???
He runs to the door to ask the stranger (who gave him back something he could have never got otherwise),to stay back with him forever. But when he opened the door he didnt see anyone outside not a trace of movement(not even at a distance).
Surprised the father closes the door and gets back in.He walks upstairs to put his son beside his mother. As he cradles his little son,he still is preoccupied by surprise. What was so surprising was that, the stranger left no Footprints outside his door .
So what do u think ?
a)Miracle
b)Agnostic....Must be Scientific Proof(something about rocking the baby)
Any explanations??
